The next part of the #RAILWAY ARCHITECTURE series will focus on a technical facility – the Local Control Center (LCS) in Mszana.
#LOCAL CONTROL CENTER
The Local Control Center (LCS) is planned near the Mszana KDP station.
The building serves not only a technical function for railway traffic management but also features a dedicated conference and training area for personnel.

The discipline and functional logic of the interior are reflected in the building’s form and façade. Designed with both functionality and user comfort in mind, the LCS provides optimal working and resting conditions. Special attention was given to the careful shaping of the structure and the use of high-quality materials.

The building’s simple yet modern form is enhanced by subtle recesses in the façade, creating dynamic light effects while reinforcing its contemporary appearance. Additionally, the surrounding space has been carefully planned to integrate with the environment, offering a welcoming atmosphere for employees and training participants.

The LCS stands out with its modern architecture and meticulously designed greenery—with climbing plants on the façades and tall vegetation in the surrounding area. This thoughtful design ensures that the LCS is not just a technical facility, but a well-designed, functional, and representative space.
