We are pleased to announce that on 09.06.2025r. DOHWA Polska Sp. z o.o. in consortium with DOHWA Engineering s.c. signed an agreement with PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A. for the development of project documentation for the task entitled: ‘Works on railway lines No. 91 and 92 on the section Rzeszów – Medyka (State border) along with adjacent lines, together with author’s supervision within the project entitled: ’Works on railway line E30 Rzeszów – Medyka (State border)”.
The agreement was signed by the Director of the Southern Region CRI of PKP PLK S.A. Mr Mateusz Wanat and the President of DOHWA Poland Mr Shin Nyeon-ho.
The main objectives of the project are:
- improving and speeding up the connection between Rzeszów and Medyka by increasing the speed of passenger trains to 160km.h and goods trains to 120km/h.
- modernisation of engineering facilities, increasing safety by eliminating level crossings and applying modern technical solutions,
- modernisation of passenger infrastructure and construction of new platforms,
- modernisation and construction of new, modern railway service facilities with equipment,
The completion date for the project documentation is planned for the third quarter of 2027.
The modernisation of the E30 railway line between Rzeszów and Medyka is a key project not only to improve communication in Poland, but also to improve the key transport corridor with Ukraine. The documentation is to include the construction of a passenger terminal in Przemyśl and a freight terminal in Medyka.
