TRAKO is the largest rail transport industry fair in Central and Eastern Europe.

We couldn’t miss an event that, on September 23–26, brought together representatives of the entire sector – from manufacturers and designers, through public institutions, to investors and business partners.

It is a place to discover the latest technologies, exchange experiences, build relationships, and seek inspiration for the further development of railways.

For our company, participation in TRAKO 2025 was not only an opportunity to observe market trends, but above all, to engage in direct meetings and conversations.

For DOHWA Polska ENG, the fair was an excellent opportunity to:

  • gain deeper insight into the latest solutions in railway infrastructure and systems,
  • compare our design experience with european trends,
  • strengthen cooperation with existing partners and establish new business contacts.

During the event, we held a series of valuable meetings.

With our partners from Ukraine – Pluton – we discussed cooperation in the field of traction substation systems.

With Elester, we explored the potential of applying energy storage systems in railways, opening new perspectives for energy efficiency in transport.

A particularly fruitful meeting took place with CPK, where we discussed the entire undertaking, with special focus on section PR7 Katowice–Ostrava, which we are designing.

Thanks to these discussions, we also established contact with a representative of the Czech investor (České dráhy) and received the latest updates on the progress of investments on the Czech side – towards Ostrava, as well as further development of High-Speed Rail towards Brno and Prague.

What is especially important, we learned about the very positive public attitude in the Czech Republic toward High-Speed Rail projects.

Events like TRAKO are an opportunity for us to draw knowledge from others’ experiences, get inspired by global solutions, and strengthen partnerships that may lead to joint projects in the future.

TRAKO has once again confirmed how important such events are for the entire industry – they enable learning from others, broadening perspectives, and building lasting business relations.

And finally, it’s worth mentioning that Gdańsk is not only about business but also a beautiful city! Although our time was limited, we managed to explore the atmospheric streets of Gdańsk at night and enjoy the charms of Sopot in the morning – a wonderful complement to the intense fair days.
